Established in 1994, Attuned Polymers Pvt. Ltd. is an independent, NABL-accredited testing laboratory based in Mumbai, India. We were the first private polymer laboratory in India to be accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) for ISO/IEC 17025 in the field of rubber testing.
With over three decades of technical excellence, we specialize in comprehensive polymer testing covering rubber (including O-rings, gaskets, hoses, seals, wipers, foam), plastics, leather, fabrics and a wide range of associated materials such as adhesives, oils, fillers, glass, FRP, and raw materials used across the polymer industry.
Our testing services adhere to international and national standards including IS, ASTM, ISO, BIS, JIS, DIN, EN, IEC, and customer-specific methods, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and global acceptance of results.

Meet the Team
Mr Mehul Patel brings over 40 years of extensive experience in the rubber industry, supported by a strong academic foundation that includes the Associateship of the National College of Rubber Technology (ANCRT), U.K., and a B.Sc. (Honours) degree from the U.K. His career reflects a rare combination of deep technical expertise and long-standing industry leadership.
He has played a pivotal role in shaping the Indian rubber sector, having served as Chairman of the Indian Rubber Institute (IRI), Mumbai Branch, for over 20 years, and as Leader of the Technical Committee of the All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA) for 12 years. His influence extends to standards development as an active member of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) PCDC 13 Committee.
Internationally recognized for his contributions, he has served as an Area Director of the American Chemical Society and has been a technical consultant to leading raw material and finished-goods manufacturers in India and abroad, advising on product development, quality, and process optimization.
He has also been at the forefront of global industry knowledge exchange, serving as Technical Convener of the International Rubber EXPO (2001–2007) and as Chief Convener of IRC 2010 (International Rubber Conference). Through his leadership, he continues to drive technical excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth across the rubber industry.
Monisha Patel is a Chartered Accountant and LLB by qualification and has also completed Management System Training related to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, giving her a strong understanding of laboratory quality systems and operational controls.
With over 10 years of industry experience, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring that all activities run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with established quality standards. She plays a key role in coordinating laboratory workflows, managing documentation, supporting audits, and maintaining consistency in testing and reporting. Her hands-on approach and attention to detail help ensure reliable operations, timely turnaround, and a high standard of service for clients.
